Joe Hoffer is a partner with the law firm of Cohen Highley LLP. Mr. Hoffer is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and the University of Western Ontario Law School. He has represented landlords on matters of rent control, condominium law and municipal/expropriation law. Mr. Hoffer has also prepared and filed hundreds of applications by landlords for above-guideline rent increases under the provisions of the Residential Rent Regulation Act, the Rent Control Act and the Tenant Protection Act, 1997. He has written and presented numerous articles on the subject of the Tenant Protection Act, 1997 and is the author of Practical Guide to the Tenant Protection Act. |
